ImageReady 〔BlitzLLVM〕

ImageReady:Int32 image:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
image In Int32 required The image to ask about.

Returns: 1 if the image is loaded, and 0 if it is still loading or does not exist.

Description

〔BlitzLLVM〕 This command does not exist in the original Blitz products. BlitzLLVM adds it.

Says whether an image is completely loaded, without waiting for it. With AsyncLoading on, LoadImage returns while the picture is still being decoded on another thread, and this is 1 once that is done and the image is on the graphics card. Without asynchronous loading every image is ready as soon as LoadImage returns, so this is always 1. Drawing the image, ImageWidth, ImageBuffer and the like never need this call: they wait for the loading by themselves.

This is a BlitzLLVM extension: the originals have no asynchronous loading.
