MeshCullBox

MeshCullBox:Void mesh:Int32, x:Float32, y:Float32, z:Float32, width:Float32, height:Float32, depth:Float32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
mesh In Int32 required Mesh handle.
x In Float32 required X of the box corner.
y In Float32 required Y of the box corner.
z In Float32 required Z of the box corner.
width In Float32 required Size of the box along X.
height In Float32 required Size of the box along Y.
depth In Float32 required Size of the box along Z.

Description

Sets the box that decides whether a mesh is in view. By default the box is taken from the mesh vertices when it is made; for a model that animates it may be too small and the mesh disappears at the edge of the screen although parts of it are still visible. Make the box big enough for every pose. The box is given in the space of the mesh: x, y and z is the corner with the smallest coordinates.

Differences

  • The box only affects EntityInView. The renderer does not cull meshes against the camera, so the box has no influence on what is drawn.
