Mid:String string:String, start:Int32, count:Int32=-1

Parameter	Mode	Type	Default	Description
string	In	String	required	The text.
start	In	Int32	required	Position of the first character to take.
count	In	Int32	-1	How many characters to take. Defaults to all that are left.

Returns: The piece of the string.

Description

Returns a piece from the middle of a string. The first character is number 1. Without a count it takes everything to the end, and a count that is too long is cut off at the end.

Examples

Print Mid$("hello", 2, 3)
Print Mid$("hello", 3)

ell
llo
