SetSamplerBorderColor:Void sampler:Int32, r:Float32, g:Float32, b:Float32, a:Float32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
sampler In Int32 required The sampler to change.
r In Float32 required Red, 0 to 1.
g In Float32 required Green, 0 to 1.
b In Float32 required Blue, 0 to 1.
a In Float32 required Alpha, 0 to 1.

Description

〔BlitzLLVM〕 This command does not exist in the original Blitz products. BlitzLLVM adds it.

Sets the color that is read where an address mode is border (3), see SetSamplerAddressModeU. The color goes from 0 to 1 for each part, and values outside of it are kept inside. The default is opaque black (0, 0, 0, 1). This is a BlitzLLVM extension.

Differences

  • Graphics cards without the VK_EXT_custom_border_color extension can only do transparent black, opaque black and opaque white, so any other color is read as the closest of the three. Colors from this command are still returned as they were set by the GetSamplerBorderColor commands.
