MovieVolume 〔BlitzLLVM〕

MovieVolume:Void movie:Int32, volume:Float32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
movie In Int32 required A movie handle from OpenMovie.
volume In Float32 required The volume from 0 to 1.

Description

〔BlitzLLVM〕 This command does not exist in the original Blitz products. BlitzLLVM adds it.

Sets the volume of the sound of a movie, from 0 (silent) to 1 (the sound of the file, which is also the volume of a new movie). Values outside of that are brought to the nearest of the two. The volume stays when the movie is paused, stopped or sought. The picture is not affected. This is a BlitzLLVM extension: the originals play a movie at the volume of the file.

Differences

  • A debug build (-d) stops the program when the movie does not exist, for example the 0 of a movie that failed to open, other builds ignore the command, see Debug handle checks.

Examples

MovieVolume movie, 0.5 ; half as loud
