ProfileEnable

ProfileEnable:Void enable:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
enable In Int32 required 1 to run the timers, 0 to stop them.

Description

Turns the timers of the runtime on or off while the program runs. The timers measure how long UpdateWorld, RenderWorld, Flip and the other parts of the runtime take, and are what ProfileFPS reports. Off, they cost nothing. A program that was compiled with --profile (or -d) starts with them on; use this to measure just one part of the program.

Without --profile this command does nothing, so a program can keep its calls in a release build.

Differences

  • This is a BlitzLLVM extension: the original has no such command.
