ClientWidth

ClientWidth:Int32 group:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
group In Int32 required Handle of a window, panel, tabber, canvas or the desktop. Other gadgets can give meaningless numbers.

Returns: The usable width in pixels.

Description

Gives the width of the area of a group that gadgets can use, without frame or scroll bars. For Desktop it is the width of the primary display, including the area under the task bar and start menu.

Differences

  • The desktop is as big as the primary display (all of it, not only the area free of the task bar), where there is a display to ask. A window of the operating system has the frame and the title bar of the system, which are not part of its client area; a menu bar or a status bar is.
