LoopMovie 〔BlitzLLVM〕

LoopMovie:Void movie:Int32, loop:Int32=1
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
movie In Int32 required A movie handle from OpenMovie.
loop In Int32 1 1 to loop the movie, 0 to play it once. The default is 1.

Description

〔BlitzLLVM〕 This command does not exist in the original Blitz products. BlitzLLVM adds it.

Makes a movie begin again at its start when it reaches its end, so that MoviePlaying stays 1 until looping is turned off, or the movie is closed. Turn it off with LoopMovie movie, False: the movie then plays to the end it is at and stops. This is a BlitzLLVM extension: the originals can only play a movie once. The sound of the end is played to its last sample before the movie begins again, so there is a short pause in the sound between the rounds.

Differences

  • A debug build (-d) stops the program when the movie does not exist, for example the 0 of a movie that failed to open, other builds ignore the command, see Debug handle checks.

Examples

movie = OpenMovie("background.mpg")
LoopMovie movie
