RecvUDPMsg

RecvUDPMsg:Int32 udp_stream:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
udp_stream In Int32 required The stream to receive on.

Returns: The size of the message in bytes, or 0 when there was none.

Description

Receives the next UDP message, if one has arrived, and makes it readable from the stream. It waits for up to the time set by UDPTimeouts, which is 0 until you set it, so it does not wait by default. UDPMsgIP and UDPMsgPort then say who sent it. A stream receives into one buffer of 65536 bytes (the most one UDP packet can have), and a message with more than that is dropped: the result is 0 for it, as if there was none.
