TFormVector

TFormVector:Void x:Float32, y:Float32, z:Float32, source_entity:Int32, dest_entity:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
x In Float32 required X of the vector in the source space.
y In Float32 required Y of the vector in the source space.
z In Float32 required Z of the vector in the source space.
source_entity In Int32 required Entity whose space the vector is in, or 0 for the world.
dest_entity In Int32 required Entity whose space the result should be in, or 0 for the world.

Description

Converts a direction from one space to another. Unlike TFormPoint the position of the entities is ignored: only their rotation and scale are used, so a vector of length 1 turns into a longer one when the source entity is scaled. Read the result with TFormedX, TFormedY and TFormedZ.

It is the right tool to find which way an entity moves when you push it forward: convert 0, 0, 1 from the entity to the world.
