StopMovie 〔BlitzLLVM〕

StopMovie:Void movie:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
movie In Int32 required A movie handle from OpenMovie.

Description

〔BlitzLLVM〕 This command does not exist in the original Blitz products. BlitzLLVM adds it.

Stops a movie and puts it back at its start. The sound stops, MoviePlaying is 0 and DrawMovie draws the first picture, until PlayMovie plays the movie from its start again. The difference to PauseMovie is where the movie is afterwards, and that a stopped movie does not count as playing. The movie stays open; CloseMovie frees it. This is a BlitzLLVM extension: the originals can only play a movie to its end.

Differences

  • A debug build (-d) stops the program when the movie does not exist, for example the 0 of a movie that failed to open, other builds ignore the command, see Debug handle checks.
