SetCubeMode

SetCubeMode:Void texture:Int32, mode:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
texture In Int32 required The cube map texture.
mode In Int32 required 1, 2 or 3, plus 4 for the space of the camera. The default is 1.

Description

Selects what a cube map (texture flag 128) shows on a surface: 1 the reflection of the view in the surface (the default), 2 the direction of the surface normal, 3 the position of the surface seen from the camera. Add 4 to look up with the directions as seen from the camera instead of in the world, so that the picture turns with the camera. The original help calls this command undocumented.

Differences

  • The faces are copied into one sheet whenever a scene that uses the cube map is drawn, so the edges between faces can show a thin seam when the picture is magnified a lot.
