Flip

Flip:Void vwait:Int32=1
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
vwait In Int32 1 1 waits for the display to be ready before flipping, which avoids tearing. 0 does not wait and may tear. 2 keeps the picture free of tearing but never makes the program wait (see below). Defaults to 1.

Description

Shows what was drawn into the back buffer in the window. A program draws a complete picture into the back buffer after SetBuffer BackBuffer() and calls Flip once per frame, which keeps the picture free of flicker. The frame rate of the program follows the display when vwait is on.

Differences

  • Without a graphics window nothing happens.
