Left:String string:String, count:Int32

string	In	String	required	The text.
count	In	Int32	required	How many characters to take.

Returns: The first count characters.

Description

Returns the first characters of a string. Asking for more characters than there are returns the whole string.

Examples

Print Left$("hello", 2)
Print Left$("hello", 10)

he
hello
