Attendees:

Actions from the last meeting

• Post-induction emails, Jackie to arrange a meeting (Jackie)
  • Github details still need to be added to the other inductions (it's already on the laser-cutter one)
• Induction processes to be reviewed (Mike and Jackie)
• Create events space booking document that can be used for promotion (Chris T)
• Procedure to induct event organisers (Jackie & Mike)
• Improve reporting of broken sewing machines Suggestion is to put up signage to make this clearer to people using the machines. Make sure the names of the machines are clear so we can track which are breaking. (Fibre Arts Team)
• Need to do more PAT testing, which can be done as part of hack the space (Mike G) #1860
• Mike to email google groups to recruit new members to the laser maintenance team. (Mike G)
• Fibre arts team will lead on raising the issue of keeping the space tidy and using equipment appropriately, Michael Dales also happy to help. (Michael D and Snoof).
• Chris T to create physical broken labels that can be put in place on broken equipment
• Add cleaning bed to laser induction spreadsheet/form and tell Darran (Jackie)
• Ask Powei at Eufy about sponsoring a children's event (Jackie)
• Review DoES income and usage to work out if overall charitable status would be of benefit to space sustainability (John, but we can drop this if need be).
• Mike to create an issue to check/set up induction forms for other machines that would need it
• Jackie will set up the Eventbrite for the DoES birthday party and post to the Google Group
• Sanna going to check if the bag-of-booze in the events space is PVTV's
• Adrian to follow up about trying to clear desks where people are no longer members
• Adrian to remind John about price rises
• Kris to investigate blinds in the Events Space (with the kitchen windows)
