PhysicsThreads 〔BlitzLLVM〕

PhysicsThreads:Void threads:Int32
Parameter Mode Type Default Description
threads In Int32 required The number of threads, 0 for one for each core.

Description

〔BlitzLLVM〕 This command does not exist in the original Blitz products. BlitzLLVM adds it.

Sets how many threads the physics simulation may use, 0 (default) for one for each core. All worlds share one pool of threads, which is made when the first world is made, so call this before the first physics command. The result of the simulation does not depend on the number of threads.

Differences

  • The original has no such command. This is an extension; programs that use it do not compile with the original Blitz3D.
