   Region (tool)

Make a filled region from an enclosed set of edges or points.

A set of curves forming a closed boundary is turned into a single filled region; a roof-with-a-gap example shows an unclosed boundary does not fill.

Menu: Combine > Region | Node: Region: Curves | In depth: Regions & booleans

Select an enclosed set of edges - or the points that define them - and Locus fills the area they bound into a single region. It updates live as the boundary moves; an unclosed boundary won't fill.

Where Fill asks you to click inside a space, Region asks you to select the boundary itself. Pick the edges, or the points behind them, and the area they enclose becomes solid.

That makes it the one to reach for when the space is awkward to click into, or when you want to be explicit about exactly which edges form the boundary.
