Control Points node icon   Control Points (node)

The Bézier control points of any cubic edges, as points.

A cubic Bézier curve between two hollow anchor points; each anchor has a dashed handle line out to a filled control point off the curve.

Inputs

  • Geometry (any): the geometry whose curve handles you want.

Outputs

  • Points (point): a point at each cubic edge's two control handles, as a list. Empty for line and arc edges, which have no handles.

What Control Points is for

Where Vertices gives you a shape's corners, Control Points gives you its curve handles - the off-curve Bézier control points that shape each cubic edge. Straight and arc edges carry no handles, so it returns nothing for purely line/arc geometry (clean Split output, say).

Color it apart from Vertices and preview the two together to read a curve: corners on the path, handles pulling off it.
