   Snap to Guides (command)

Snap points onto guides while drawing and dragging.

A point snapping onto a soft-indigo dotted guide line, marked with a blue dot.

With Snap to Guides on, points land on your guide lines while you draw and drag - the cue is a blue dot on the guide.

A toggle, not a one-off. Turn it on and it stays on for every draw and every drag until you turn it off again.

Guides are the scaffolding you lay down before you draw: a center line, an axis, a spacing to repeat against. Snapping is what makes them worth laying down, because a point that lands on a guide really is on it, not near it.
