node midpoint
< Previous: Tangent | Next: Divide >
The point halfway between two points (pairs lists index-for-index).
Category: Construct | Add menu: Construct > Midpoint
- Segment (curve): wire a segment to use its two endpoints instead of Point A and Point B.
- Point A (point): one end of the span.
- Point B (point): the other end of the span.
- Point (point): the point halfway between A and B.
The point halfway along a span. Wire a Segment, or give it two points.
A wired Segment wins over Point A and Point B. The output is a list, one midpoint per segment, or per index-matched pair of points, so it drops straight into anything that takes a point list.

- In the modeling view: Point: Midpoint - construct the same midpoint directly on the canvas.
