node explode line

Important
Deprecated. This node is no longer in the menus. Use Explode, which answers for every shape and takes a group apart a layer at a time. Documents built with this node still open and still work.
An infinite line's two defining points (Point 1, Point 2).
Category: Data | Add menu: Data > Explode Line
An infinite construction line is drawn far past its two defining points, but it remembers them - Explode Line returns those original two points, not the far-extended ends. (If a line has no stored defining points, it falls back to the drawn endpoints.)
Note
The input socket is typed any (grey wildcard), not line-specific - see Explode Segment for why the whole Explode family works this way.
- Line (any): the infinite line to break apart.
- Point 1 (point): the line's first defining point.
- Point 2 (point): the line's second defining point.
Recovers the two points behind an infinite line, so the graph can build from where it was defined rather than from where it happens to be drawn to.
The points come out as matching lists, one pair per line, so a whole set of construction lines explodes at once.
