Realize node icon   Realize (node)

Make the node graph's geometry real in the Modeling window (a live materialization); outputs the created object's name.

Category: Display | Add menu: Display > Realize

Inputs

  • Geometry (any): the procedural geometry to bake into real, editable objects.

What it is for

Turns the graph's output into real objects in the Modeling window. Until you realize something, what you see there is a preview: it cannot be clicked, selected or built on.

It stays live. Change anything upstream and the realized objects are remade to match, which also means anything you build on top of them can be rebuilt out from under you.

Outputs

See the description above.
