Compass: Radius (tool)

A construction circle whose radius is taken from an existing circle, arc, or segment.

A circle whose radius is borrowed from a separate source segment labeled 'radius from this'.

Menu: Draw > Compass: Radius | In depth: Compass & straightedge

Place the center, then pick an existing circle, arc, or segment to set the radius - the construction circle matches that object's size. Tick its crossings, then hide it like any construction.

Select a compass-radius circle afterward and the status bar names its source - "Radius from ..." followed by that object's name - with the source object itself faintly highlighted on the canvas, so the link between the two stays visible even after the circle is finished and its host tidied away.
