Modeling Menus

   Copy Style (command)

Make one object look like another.

Two plain rectangles and a styled source; after the command both rectangles wear the source style.

Menu: Edit > Copy Style | In depth: Style palettes

Select the objects you want to change, run Copy Style, then click the object whose look you want. Its fill, stroke color, width and dash all land on your selection in one step.

It copies the whole style, including what the source does not have. If the source carries no fill, the targets lose theirs rather than keeping it, so the result really matches instead of half-matching.

One undo step covers the whole thing, and Esc cancels while you are picking.
