Modeling Menus

   Command Descriptions (command)

Show or hide the one-line description under each row in the palette and node search.

Palette: Settings: Command Descriptions | In depth: Preferences

Note

This is a palette setting, not a View-menu item. The app lists it as Settings: Command Descriptions; reach it by searching the command palette for that name.

A checkable toggle, on by default.

Every command and every node carries a one-line description, and this decides whether it is printed under the row while you are searching.

Leave it on while you are learning where things are. Turn it off once you know the names and you want more rows on screen at once.
