node circle center point
Home > Primitives > Circle: Center Point
< Previous: Ray | Next: Circle: Center Radius >
A circle at each center, through a second point on it - the radius is the distance between them.
Category: Primitives | Add menu: Primitives > Circle: Center Point
Give it a center and a point that lies on the circle, and it draws the circle that passes through that point - so the radius follows the two points as they move, no number needed. Wire in lists of centers and on-circle points and it pairs them index-for-index, one circle per pair. For a radius set by a number, an arc, or a value field instead, use Circle: Center Radius.
- Center (point): the center of the circle.
- On Circle (point): a point the circle passes through; its distance from the center is the radius.
- Geometry (region): a circle per center/point pair.
The circle to use when the size should come from the drawing rather than from a number you typed. Both the center and the size are decided by geometry, so the circle keeps up as that geometry changes.
Choose Circle: Center Radius instead when the size is the thing you want to control directly, or when you want several circles to share one radius.

- In the modeling view: Circle: Center Point - draw the same circle directly on the canvas.
