   Rectangle: XY-Aligned (tool)

An axis-aligned rectangle from two opposite corners.

An axis-aligned rectangle drawn from two opposite corner clicks.

Menu: Draw > Rectangle: XY-Aligned | Node: Rectangle: XY-Aligned | In depth: Rectangles & squares

Click two opposite corners; the rectangle stays aligned to the X and Y axes.

A rectangle parallel to the X and Y axes. Two clicks and you have it, with no angle to worry about.

It is built from those two corner points, so moving either one resizes it. When you need a rectangle that can lean, use the directed version instead.
