   Export Selected as SVG (command)

Write the selected shapes out as SVG.

Menu: File > Export Selected as SVG | In depth: Exporting SVG

Writes the selected shapes as SVG, in millimeters, through a native Save panel.

Selection is the whole filter. Nothing selected means nothing to write, and it tells you so rather than writing an empty file.

Geometry it cannot represent is skipped, and the count of what was skipped is reported alongside the count of what was written, so a silent omission is not possible.

The node window can export straight from a node: right-click a selection there and choose Export as, and its output geometry goes out without a Realize round trip first.

Exporting is one of the licensed commands.
