   Dimension: Radial (tool)

A radius or diameter dimension for a circle or arc.

Menu: Draw > Dimension: Radial | In depth: Dimensions

Click a circle or arc, then click again to place the label - the leader points to the arc, and a center mark with a dashed radial guide shows what the radius is read from. The value reads the true radius in millimeters and tracks the circle as it resizes.

Where you place the label picks the standard drafting placement: drop it inside the arc and the dimension line runs center -> arc with the arrowhead pointing outward and the text inside; drop it outside and a leader runs in to the arc with the arrowhead pointing inward and the text outside. Drag the label across that boundary later to flip between them.

Right-click the dimension afterward to switch it between radius and diameter. See Dimensions for the full family, styling, and export.
