< Previous: Circle: Center Point | Next: Circle: Apollonius >
A circle at each center; radius from a number, an arc/circle's radius, or a segment's length; or wire a value Field into Radius for per-circle image-driven halftones.

- Center (point): the center point of each circle.
- Radius (any): the radius in mm - a number, a list (one radius per center), a value field, or taken from another arc/circle's radius or a segment's length.
- Geometry (region): one full circle per center, each its own region. Overlapping circles stay separate shapes, not even-odd cut-outs.
The Radius socket is typed any, so it takes on the color and shape of whatever you connect - and the node reads a radius from each type in its own way.
Wire in a number - typed into the Radius value, or fed from a Slider, Number, or Math node. Every center gets a circle of exactly that radius.
Wire in another circle (a region). The node reads that circle's exact radius and reuses it - read directly, never measured or sampled - so many circles can all match one master.
Wire in a curve. From an arc the node takes the arc's radius; from a straight segment it takes the segment's length. Either way, that distance becomes the radius.
Wire in a list of points. With two points the node uses the distance between them; with three or more it uses their average distance from the centroid - a mean radius.
Wire in a value field (for example Image Sample -> Graph Mapper). Each circle's radius is sampled from the field at its own center, so a grid of centers becomes a halftone - dots sized by local tone.
Wire in a list of numbers and the circles take one radius each, paired with the centers index-for-index - a Series run through some Math, say. This is how a Phyllotaxis scatter grows its florets: the sqrt -index radii that place the points also size the circles.
