transform move

Translate the selected free points.
Menu: Transform > Move | Node: Move | In depth: Transform tools
Select the geometry, then drag - Locus translates every selected free point by the same offset. Points pinned to other objects follow their own rules.
Move shifts points, not objects. It takes the free points in your selection and offsets them, and everything built on those points re-solves and follows.
Run Select Roots on an object first to find the points you can actually move. Without it you may have selected a shape whose position is entirely determined by something else, and nothing will budge.
You can type exact values instead of dragging: press a number key during the flow to open a value box for dx and dy.
