   Image & Fields nodes

The Image & Fields category of the node palette.

The three Image and Fields nodes wired in sequence: an Image node showing a gradient thumbnail feeds Image Sample, whose Field output feeds Graph Mapper's In; Graph Mapper remaps it with Out Min, Out Max and Preview

Add these from Image & Fields in the node menu. Each links to its own page.

The four nodes in sequence: Image holds the picture, Image Sample turns it into a value field, and Graph Mapper remaps that field. The field output then drives any field-aware node downstream.

Image - a reference image pinned by two point inputs (lower-left / lower-right) with an Alpha; double-click the node to load a picture, then wire it to Realize.

Image Sample - turn an image into a FIELD of values (brightness/R/G/B/alpha) to drive other nodes; click the pills to set channel and wrap (tile/mirror/stretch).

Graph Mapper - remap a value (or a field) through an editable Photoshop-Curves-style curve; drag points on the node, scale into Out Min/Max.

Blur - soften an image or a field over a disc of the given Radius; Strength mixes the result back with the original.
