Collect node icon   Collect (node)

Gather inputs into one list; each item stays separate (grows a socket as you connect).

Separate items on the left gathered into one list in blue, shown bracketed, on the right.

Inputs

  • Item (any): one item to gather into the list.

Outputs

  • List (any): the gathered items as one list.

Geometry and plain values

Collect handles two kinds of input and never mixes them.

Geometry merges into one branched Geometry, each connected input becoming its own branch, which is how a collection keeps its items separate downstream.

A collection holding a region counts as a region, even when the rest of it is open curves. A Collect of curves alone cannot.

Plain values - colors, numbers, strings - come out as an ordinary list instead. A Collect of Color nodes gives you a color list, which Item at Index can index and which the Style node's Fill and Stroke accept directly. If both kinds are wired in, geometry wins.
