Parallel node icon   Parallel (node)

An infinite line through a point, parallel to a line's direction.

A reference line (direction only) and a Through point; the node draws an infinite line through the point in the same direction, marked parallel with matching chevrons.

Inputs

Inputs grow as you wire them in - this node adds sockets as you connect.

Outputs

  • Line (curve): the parallel line.

The Line input

Line takes only its direction from the first segment, line, or ray in the geometry you wire in. The node emits a line along that same direction through each Through point. The input line's position doesn't matter - just its direction.
