edit close spline
< Previous: Cut Spline | Next: Unhide All >
Join the selected piece's last anchor back to its first.
Menu: Edit > Close Spline | In depth: Splines
Important
Under construction. Splines are new and this page describes work in progress. Nothing here is a promise about the finished feature.
Open the spline for editing and select an anchor on the piece you want closed. The piece that anchor belongs to is the one that closes, so you do not have to select the two ends.
It is refused below three anchors. A run of two, closed, would double back along itself and enclose nothing.
It is also refused on a piece that is already closed.
- Splines: anchors, handles, spans and pieces.
- Cut Spline: the other direction.
- The Pen: closing a spline as you draw it, by clicking the first anchor.
