First C#-script

  1. Open C# Scripts IDE in full edition or in the selected manager session.
  2. Create a file and save it with the extension .csx.
  3. Check the file via Validate, then run via Run.
UO.Print("Hello from C#!");
await WaitAsync(100);
UO.Print($"Position: {UO.GetX()}, {UO.GetY()}");

The code is executed from top to bottom. There is no need to create class Program or method Main. The name Main in the manager list indicates the file launch point.

UO refers to the character of the current session. WaitAsync performs a cancelable wait; Args contains startup arguments; Cancellation – stop token.

Pausing preserves the progress state. Stopping terminates the script at a controlled execution point. Closing the editor and stopping the script are different actions.
