- Named Bad Newbie Lists are your sets of buy/sell rules in your profile settings. In the buy or sell section, create a list, set a name, add items, and enable the lists you want. The name of the set is chosen by the user; There is no general catalog of titles for everyone.
- Rules Buy/AutoBuy and Sell/AutoSell - changes to the main list (Default). The name argument of Buy/AutoBuyEx is a filter for the product name, NOT the list name. These arguments cannot select an arbitrary named set. New rules are enabled and saved in the profile.
- GetShopList - lines of the already open NPC-seller window, and not a list of your saved rules. If there is no window, the array is empty. ShopBuyRestock/Rstk is the 26 layer of the seller, NOT a purchase rule and not a store opening function.
- AllPrice/MassPriceMove — setting the price for the goods of a personal seller. This is a different scenario; see UO.AllPrice and UO.MassPriceMove.
- Set up the list in Bad Newbie or add a rule using the script below.
- Go to the NPC-seller and open his purchase/sale using the method available on the server (context menu or speech).
- When an offer is received, the automation matches type, hue, quantity, price and name with the enabled rules. Customization teams do not open the store or create products themselves.
- Check the result by changes in content/gold and server messages. Unit in the setup command is not a confirmation of the transaction.
- type is graphic of goods 0..65535, NOT serial things. Negative type is rejected; 65535 here is a specific graphic, not an “everything” mask.
- color - hue; -1 or 65535 means any color. For precise color use 0..65534.
- quantity — number of product units; positive is limited to 65535. 0/negative removes the matching main list type+color rule and does NOT mean "buy all". Buy/Sell without quantity has the value 1.
- maxPrice — maximum price of one unit upon purchase; 0/negative means no price limit. Not the total purchase amount.
- name — optional substring of the product name, case insensitive; an empty string does not filter the name. This is NOT the listing name or the seller's serial.
A repeated rule with the same type and color mask updates the existing one. Quantity limits the total selection by this rule in one store response; this is not a command to “bring the backpack to the remainder of N.” For each position, the first matching enabled rule is selected. Overlapping rules do not add up limits for the same product.
0x0F7A is an example of standard Black Pearl graphics; check type on your server. 20 — units, 5 — price per unit. An empty name does not apply a text filter. The script saves the rule and exits; Customer automation processes the store's next offer.
The rule applies to 0x0F51 of any color; selling up to 3 units with available offer. 15000 - example time, not transaction confirmation. Deleting a rule does not cancel a sale already sent to the server. The example overwrites an existing matching rule; do not use it over the desired saved rule.
Each line has the fields serial|graphic|hue|amount|price|name. serial — ID positions of the current window, graphic/hue — product characteristics, amount — available quantity, price — unit price, name — text name. There may be a delimiter in the name: do not consider an arbitrary number of parts as a new format. The data is valid for this window; GetShopList does not buy or sell anything.
ClearShopList clears both buy and sell rule arrays and turns off both automations. This is a mass reset, not the harmless start of each script. To remove one rule, pass quantity=0 to the corresponding Buy/Sell.
