C#: dynamic

Handbook C# · Practical Guide

Defers binding of supported operations until runtime. Accessing a missing member fails when that operation executes.

Simple example (Example.cs)

Save this example separately as Example.cs. Run it independently of the other examples on this page.

Example.cs:

// PROJECT-EXAMPLE
dynamic text = "ore";
System.Console.WriteLine(text.ToUpperInvariant());

Result:

ORE

Syntax
